Prayer
In Matthew 6:5, Jesus says three very important words: “When you pray…” These few words give us some weighty truth about a very significant likelihood Jesus has for His People. Notice that He does not say “If you pray…”, He says “When you pray…”. “When” denotes that the expectation is we would be a people committed to prayer, being that consistent prayer keeps us consistently “joined” to God.
